The IRIS Program utilizes proprietary, State-of-the-Art auditorium analysis, monitoring, and modeling technology to understand exactly what each auditorium’s unique equipment setup is capable of, and how it would be able to perform with every possible screen and frame combination.
Harkness’ Qalif Ultimate technology allows for measurement of contrast, color (down to 1nm) and color convergence, ideal for ensuring performance quality in single, dual or multiple projection setups such as premium large format theatres.
This solution also allows for fully-automated remote screen monitoring from the Network Operation Centre (NOC) and Theatre Management System (TMS).
Designed for use in Premium Large Format (PLF) theatres, normal cinema environments, post-production facilities or review rooms, Qalif Ultimate technology is designed to measure all digital cinema screen parameters and help fine tune projection settings automatically tracking each parameter during its operation.
Harkness’ Digital Screen Modeler app allows IRIS Optimized Auditorium analysts to preview the viewing angle, light and uniformity level from any seat in the auditorium.
The apps allow for the exact dimensions, projector, bulb, screen and frame currently present in the auditorium and any of these parameters can be changed.
This allows Harkness technicians to determine the exact specific screen/frame combination that will deliver the pinnacle of presentation for that unique auditorium and projector.
